Environmental sustainability in the Standards
Environmental sustainability is embedded throughout the Standards. Together with a suite of RACGP's resources, the Standards support general practices to implement environmentally sustainable measures.
Measures such as reducing energy consumption, minimising waste and promoting environmentally aware practices aim to mitigate the practice’s impact on the environment. Implementing environmentally sustainable measures in the practice:
- safeguards public health
- upholds ethical responsibilities
- supports long-term viability.
