Incident reports

While every effort is made to ensure all exams are delivered without incident, circumstances beyond the control of the RACGP may occasionally arise.

If a candidate has encountered an incident that has had a significant effect on their exam performance, they can complete an incident report.

All candidates who submit an incident report will receive an acknowledgment of receipt after processing of all incidents is finalised. This may be up to 14 days after the exam.

All incident reports are investigated and the impact on a candidate’s performance is considered by the Council of Censors (or delegate) prior to the release of results.

Completing an incident report

Incident reports must be completed and returned within two business days of the last exam day. Only incident reports received within this timeframe will be considered.

Applied Knowledge Test and Key Feature Problem exams

Candidates may request an incident report form from the exam invigilator and complete the report at the exam venue.

Candidates can also download the incident report form and email the completed form to examinations@racgp.org.au.  This form will not be accepted for incidents in the CCE – candidates must submit CCE incidents via the online incident report form.
