A clinical reference tool

All eligible users of the RACGP John Murtagh Library have access to DynaMed, the evidence-based clinical reference tool created for use by doctors and other health care professionals for use primarily at the 'point-of-care'. DynaMed provides clinically-organised evidence summaries for more than 3,400 topics along with recommendations for practice using the gold standard GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation) system.

Users must not use any Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools or machine learning/training technologies with any material in DynaMed for any purpose. Use is restricted to viewing or downloading a single copy of material from DynaMed, for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use is strictly prohibited under the RACGP’s licence to access DynaMed.

In addition to web access via the Library's web pages, DynaMed is available as an app for iPhones, iPads, and Android phones and devices. A DynaMed account is required to log in and open the app. Create your account via the 'sign in' link in the top right corner of the DynaMed website. Then download the app by searching for DynaMed in the Google Play or Apple Apps Store. Install and open the app, then log in with your DynaMed username and password.
