AGPT registrars can commence applying to practices for the 2025.2 placement round through the Training Management System (TMS) from Monday, 28 April. Due to this, we are anticipating higher-than-usual traffic to our TMS. Although this may result in slower load times, we will actively be monitoring TMS performance and making necessary changes to remediate any issues. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.

A clinical reference tool

All eligible users of the RACGP John Murtagh Library have access to DynaMed, the evidence-based clinical reference tool created for use by doctors and other health care professionals for use primarily at the 'point-of-care'. DynaMed provides clinically-organised evidence summaries for more than 3,400 topics along with recommendations for practice using the gold standard GRADE (Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation) system.

In addition to web access via the Library's web pages, DynaMed is available as an app for iPhones, iPads, and Android phones and devices. A DynaMed account is required to log in and open the app. Create your account via the 'sign in' link in the top right corner of the DynaMed website. Then download the app by searching for DynaMed in the Google Play or Apple Apps Store. Install and open the app, then log in with your DynaMed username and password.

To request full-text articles referenced in DynaMed please use the Library's online article request form, or send an email to library@racgp.org.au.

To keep up to date with  research evidence most likely to inform clinical practice, sign up for  DynaMed's free weekly
e-newsletter, EBM Focus.

Please send your feedback on DynaMed to jane.ryan@racgp.org.au.
