Incentivised placement location payments encourage registrars to undertake placements in RACGP determined areas of workforce need in rural and remote locations. These payments help offset the additional costs associated with living and working in these communities.

Funding levels vary depending on the placement band and registrars must meet the criteria set out in the Flexible Funds Policy.

Incentivised placement location payments are provided in addition to the National Consistent Payments Framework (NCP) registrar payments.
