Organisations or individuals can submit an education request by completing the Education Development Request Checklist. Education requests must meet the following criteria before they will be considered:

  • The education is within the scope of general practice, as defined by the RACGP curriculum.
  • The education aligns with the principles and imperatives of the RACGP educational framework.
  • The education is based on current evidence and references (i.e. Australian clinical guidelines).
  • A general practitioner has been or will be involved in the development of the education.
  • All conflicts of interests are declared.

This Checklist does not apply to:

  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) providers who will develop and deliver their own educational content. Access the RACGP CPD Providers page for more information.
  • Organisations promoting education research findings or seeking GP participation in education research. Access the RACGP Research page for more information, or submit a research project to the RACGP research noticeboard.
  • Organisations seeking endorsement or promotion of clinical resources. Access the Endorsement of Clinical Resources page for more information.

Completion of this checklist does not guarantee approval of your request. All requests will be reviewed, and the contact notified once a decision has been made.
