New RACGP membership categories

We’re making RACGP membership simpler and fairer.

We’re making RACGP membership simpler and fairer. Under our more inclusive RACGP membership model, your membership fee will be based on your annual income. We feel that means-testing is the fairest way to segment our membership categories. If you earn less, you shouldn’t miss out on any essential benefits of RACGP membership.

We’ve also kept a range of categories for health professionals at different stages of their careers, from GPs in training to retired doctors and GPs living overseas. And we’ll offer complimentary membership to medical students and residents/interns to further support the future of general practice.

Use the table below to work out which of the new membership categories you fit into.
