GPs will gain practical strategies and deeper insights into deprescribing benzodiazepines and Z-drugs (including Zopiclone and Zolpidem) in patients with more complex presentations. Drawing on the evidence-based Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines, the workshop combines real-world case studies, breakout discussions, and reflective exercises to help participants troubleshoot hyperbolic tapering, navigate challenges during the tapering process, and facilitate collaborative decision-making. By the end, participants will leave with practical skills, actionable strategies, and greater confidence to support complex patients in safely reducing or discontinuing their medication.
This webinar will strengthen participants' understanding of hepatitis B, including epidemiology, transmission, testing, monitoring, and management. It will also highlight the critical role of GPs in identifying people at risk, promoting vaccination, facilitating timely testing, and ensuring regular viral load monitoring an essential component of CHB care.
