Writing
Write your own story or work with a colleague, friend or family member involved in general practice to write theirs, such as the fascinating biography of Dr Patrick Edmonds written by Max Kamien or maybe write an obituary or tribute to a colleague you’ve worked closely with or been mentored by. If you enjoy historical research delve into the history of a particular general practice and write an essay to share with others via the general practice histories page. For an example of a fascinating practice history checkout that of Abesway Medical Practice which has links with a well-known pair of cricketing twins.
If you like creative writing why not write a tale about one of your tools of trade – find out more by visiting our Tales from the Tools section.
Biographies, obituaries and history papers may be submitted for consideration by the History Screening Panel via history@racgp.org.au
