Contact tracing

During epidemics and pandemics (eg COVID-19, pandemic influenza, measles and invasive meningococcal disease), it may be necessary to trace people who have been in contact with an infected patient. These may include practice staff and other patients, and the person’s household members, work colleagues and other acquaintances. Contact your state or territory health department communicable disease unit for advice and direction (see Links).
