Call for feedback: Vexatious notifications framework review

 Call for feedback closed

In December 2020, Ahpra published a Framework for identifying and dealing with vexatious notifications (the Framework). Information about vexatious notifications and the Framework are available on the Ahpra website.

The National Health Practitioner Ombudsman is undertaking an independent review of the implementation of the Framework.

Vexatious notifications have been the subject of significant debate since the establishment of the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme in 2010. The RACGP recognises this is a highly contentious issue and would like to ensure that member feedback is captured in our submission to the Ombudsman’s review.

If you have any recent feedback on your experience with the Ahpra notifications process, and more specifically any experience since December 2020 which may have been handled using Aphra’s vexatious notifications framework, please email healthreform@racgp.org.au by 9am Monday 14 November 2022.

Given the sensitivity of this topic, all feedback will be deidentified prior to inclusion in the RACGP’s submission.
