As an RACGP CPD Major Provider in 2023, we’re delighted to have collaborated with the RACGP to co-design and deliver the national ‘Everyday Scope of Health’ webinar series focussing on common GP presentations. One of the key benefits of being a Major Provider is being able to connect and showcase our large network of specialists and doctors across Australia with general practitioners. The participation rate of GPs engaging with clinically-robust national CPD program has been exceptional.

With the transition to the new CPD requirements for GPs, we have been supported by local RACGP staff who have provided training and feedback to our new CPD representatives.  This has helped us ensure our events meet the education needs of rural GPs and clearly promote the CPD activity types, and hours, for each session.

The new RACGP CPD framework facilitates the delivery of quality training opportunities for GPs, and also affords appropriate recognition for the important contribution that GPs make to research and teaching.
