The support and teaching we received as mentors was very valuable. I felt the experience was rewarding for both the mentee and me. 

I highly recommend the program - I entered to help give me some direction post fellowship, and I left with a better understanding of what post-fellowed General Practice can be like, how to set boundaries, set goals, and overall left with a new mentor I will keep in touch with regardless of the program's end. 

The facilitators of the program are very supportive and provide extensive resources to fall back on when required for assistance. 

I found participating in this program a meaningful experience for both my mentee and myself. We were able to navigate challenging scenarios, future planning and self development topics over the 12 month period. 

Wonderful experience. Very well-organised program. It is such a joy and privilege to be paired with a younger doctor, to be able to share the triumphs and troughs.

It was an invaluable opportunity to gain an experience over a year which would have been gained over years without a mentor. 

It was great to have another colleague to be a wise sounding board. Someone I could download my frustrations about work and questions on patient management. I found it very supportive when looking for a new job to think through pros and cons from a wiser GP.
