The RACGP in collaboration with, and funding from, Healthy North Coast (North Coast Primary Health Network) is developing the resource The role and inclusion of general practitioners in evacuation centres.

The purpose of this resource is to provide guidelines to assist in the integration of general practice healthcare provision in evacuation centres and to ensure that the principles and concepts of evacuation planning for general practice are consistent nationally. These guidelines include recommendations on the roles and responsibilities for PHNs coordinating, supporting and administering these services.
