Dr Nick Hummel has been the RACGP Queensland State Censor since March 2020.

It was automatic with my appointment as censor in March 2020. I had been on Faculty council for some years between 2007 and circa 2014. My most active role had been as QLD Education Committee Chair for approximately 3 years.
Initially in 2007, it had been with the intent to influence change from within.
To use my experience in training GPs to best make decisions around training, assessment, and fellowship attainment matters.
When I emigrated to Australia is 1990, a GP job offer was the most attractive, an available position open for me but once I started I never looked back.
