Council and Committees

The RACGP Queensland Faculty Council is the elected advisory body to inform the RACGP Board and to represent the interests of college members across Queensland

The Queensland Education Committee is a sub-committee of the RACGP Queensland Faculty Council, and provides clinical advice in the planning, implementing, and delivery of state-wide faculty post-fellowship education activities.

The Queensland New Fellows Committee is a sub-committee of the  RACGP Queensland Faulty Council. The Queensland New Fellows Committee aims to provide support, education activities and networking opportunities to new fellows across the state.

The Queensland Research Support Committee is a sub-committee of the RACGP Queensland Faulty Council, and supports activities to promote and encourage GP and GP’s in Training  involvement in general practice centred research. The Committee facilitates the bi-annual Queensland Faculty Research Plenary, highlighting general practice research project, at the RACGP Queensland Clinical Update Weekend held in May 2025.
