Early medical abortion (EMA) is a mechanism that can be used to respond to an unintended pregnancy. However access to services, particularly in rural areas, and high out-of-pocket costs remain significant hurdles for people wishing to exercise their reproductive choices.

This webinar will focus on preparing a general practice to deliver medical abortion. It will highlight the considerations a general practice and their teams should make regarding resources, training, and preparation for medical abortion. This includes patient and practice support needs. Presented in partnership with Australian Contraception and Abortion Primary Care Practitioner Support Network (AusCAPPS).
