Good medical practice code of conduct

Under a set of draft guidelines released by the Medical Board of Australia in March 2015, GPs have a central role to play in advising patients considering cosmetic surgery.

According to a committee of the Australian Health Workforce Ministerial Council, the guidelines will be added as a supplement to the Medical Board of Australia’s Good medical practice: A code of conduct for doctors in Australia.
