Jan Radford (FRACGP, FARGP, MPsychMed, MEd, MBBS) is Associate Professor of General Practice at the University of Tasmania. She is based in Launceston where she has worked as a GP for 30 years. Jan is an academic general practitioner with extensive experience in curriculum development, delivery and assessment for medical training at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is also deputy-chair of General Practice Training Tasmania, deputy associate head of the Launceston Clinical School and a member of the RACGP’s Expert Committee - Research.
Jan's research interests include medical education, primary care systems redesign, the use of routinely collected medical record data as a research tool, and translating evidence into practice using all of these approaches.
