Cecilia is a GP registrar working in Southwest Victoria. Prior to commencing GP training, she has worked interstate in Tasmania and New South Wales and has international healthcare experience in Singapore and the UK prior to calling Victoria home. Called to GP training amid the COVID pandemic in response to the GP shortage in Australia, she embraces the challenges and demands faced by today’s GP trainees.

She has a strong commitment to the delivery of safe and equitable healthcare, and is passionate about medical education and advocacy, teaching medical students at Deakin University. Her areas of interest include paediatrics, women’s and preventative health.

As the Victorian representative in the RACGP GPiT faculty, she aims to attract more medical students and junior doctors into the profession by creating a conducive and supportive environment for current and future GP trainees in collaboration with GPRA and AMA. She is also a member of the NTCER working group and the AMA Victoria Women in Medicine Committee.
