The Committee

The Women in GP Leadership Committee is Chaired by Dr Rula Ali. The committee is established and run by female GPs to represent, support, and foster community amongst female GPs and to promote women’s health. The committee works within advocacy, education, research, and policy.

The Committee has over 80 members who meet every other month between March and September. In March, we came together to celebrate International Women’s Day.

The Women in GP Leadership Committee is open to all women working in the General Practice space. Often, we may not see ourselves as leaders, but those around us do. Whether you see yourself as a leader, or you are looking to be inspired by other women in the field, we encourage you to get involved.
