The RACGP recognises the positive health and wellbeing outcomes of self-determination. Below we have compiled various interviews, documentaries and presentations on the myriad of community driven solutions and initiatives which provide valuable insight into the leadership and driving of positive change and health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The program showcases particular projects that are making a difference: the Family Wellbeing Program at Yarrabah in Queensland; a diabetes self-management program developed by the Far North Queensland Rural Division of General Practice and currently run by Apunipima Cape York Health Council.
