Who we are
The RACGP is Australia’s largest professional general practice organisation, representing more than 40,000 members working in or towards a career in general practice.
Our mission is to improve the health and wellbeing of all people in Australia by supporting GPs, general practice registrars and medical students through our principal activities of education, training and research. The RACGP employs over 350 staff across Australia and engages approximately 1800 GPs in some form of work. We have an office in every state and territory with our National Office located in East Melbourne, and other offices located in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, Perth, and Darwin.
There is something for everyone at the RACGP, with opportunities across a wide range of positions in areas including: education strategy, exam delivery, governance and accreditation, data analytics, marketing & communications, business development, events, publications, customer service, administration, policy & advocacy, project management, information technology, legal, finance and human resources.
Help shape the next generation of Australia’s GPs
The establishment of the Fellowship Pathways Division begins an exciting and momentous new chapter in the RACGP’s history. Fellowship Pathways, led by General Manager Dr Stephen Lambert PhD, will support the delivery of education content and the associated strategy to all ‘doctors in training’ working with a multitude of external stakeholders involved in general practice training. The Fellowship Pathways Division takes the responsibility for training across all pathways and education support programs (RVTS, PEP Standard and Specialist Streams, and AGPT) and will be working very closely with Regional Training Organisations and the Remote Vocational Training Scheme Ltd to support the delivery of training at the local level. The RACGP is currently recruiting for a range of opportunities roles within the new Fellowship Pathways Division.
