This notice is to advise that the RACGP and ACRRM have developed a guidance document for Training Organisations to manage AGPT registrars who wish to transfer between the two colleges or undertake both college’s pathway to Fellowship as a dual registrar.
The new AGPT Inter-College Transfer Guidance Document will come into effect immediately and outlines the following:
- The principles under which registrars may transfer between colleges
- The principles under which registrars may add the other college’s pathway to Fellowship and train as a dual registrar
- The process for Training Organisations to follow when they receive a request from a registrar for either of the above.
This guidance document is a joint-college document. Both the RACGP and ACRRM have agreed on the principles and process to provide a uniform experience for Training Organisations and registrars.
When will the policy come into effect?
This guidance document will come into effect immediately.
