The RACGP’s Practice Experience Program (PEP) is a self-directed education program designed to support non-vocationally registered (non-VR) doctors on their journey to RACGP Fellowship. The Non-Vocationally Registered Fellowship Support Program (FSP) is funded under the Australian Government’s (Department of Health) Stronger Rural Health Strategy for Doctors based in Modified Monash Model (MMM) areas 2 to 7.
The PEP has two streams. Applicants who do not hold a specialist qualification should register their interest in the self-funded program replacing the PEP Standard Stream. Applicants with a specialist qualification should apply through the Specialist Stream. Places are limited under the current government funding.
The Practice Experience Program (PEP) Standard Stream is the journey to Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP) for non VR doctors who do not hold a specialist qualification
The Practice Experience Program (PEP) Specialist Stream is the journey to Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP) for international medical graduates (IMGS) with overseas specialist qualifications
The Practice Experience Program Exam Preparation (PEPExP) course is optional and can be undertaken to enhance your skills for the AKT and KFP RACGP Fellowship exams
