Description

This variant of acoustic stethoscope is known as a ‘Littmann-type’, named after its inventor Dr David Littmann, of the Harvard Medical School. Littmann’s stethoscope incorporates substantial refinements to the chest-piece, resulting in a lighter instrument which is easier to use. It is made from metals and polymers and dates from 1990.
