Register for RACGP MDRAP online education

The More Doctors for Rural Australia Program (MDRAP) online education is moving to the new gplearning 2023 Learning Management System (LMS) on 1 June 2023.

New enrolments for MDRAP will also commence on 1 June 2023.

If you are currently enrolled in Modules 1, 2 or 3, you can still complete them on the current gplearning-transition LMS until 31 May. On 1 June, access to incomplete modules you are enrolled in, will be switched to the new gplearning 2023 LMS. Y ou will need to restart any incomplete modules in the new gplearning 2023 LMS. You still have the option to purchase modules 2 and 3 if you haven’t already, which you can access from the new gplearning 2023 LMS from 1 June 2023.


New course structure from 1 June 2023

The RACGP is offering a course of three online modules to accepted MDRAP participants. The modules are:

  • Module 1: Fundamentals of Australian general practice
  • Module 2: Emergencies in general practice
  • Module 3: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and cultural awareness.

The course (all three modules) will cost the MDRAP participant $270 + GST (for both members and non-members).

If you are a MDRAP participant who is not a member of the College, you can choose from two options to access the RACGP course:

Option 1: You can register to become a RACGP member*, meaning that you will gain access to all gplearning activities, free of charge. In addition to this, you will also receive free access to the following Certificate of Dermatology modules:

  • DermCert 1: Introduction to the skin
  • DermCert 2: Melanoma and melanocytic lesions

*This offer is only available to new members who join at the time of MDRAP registration.

Option 2: You can register for the MDRAP course as a non-member.

To register for the RACGP MDRAP course, please download this form. On the registration form, select whether you would like to join as a member, or non-member, or if you are already a member, and then email the completed form and your MDRAP letter of offer from your Rural Workforce Agency to gplearning@racgp.org.au.

Once you have made payment for the course, you will be emailed your invoice and instructions on how to access the course (all three online learning modules).
