Australian Training Organisations

Delivering general practice training across Australia

If you are on a pathway to Fellowship with the RACGP, you will be supported by a local training organisation (TO) who will be your day-to-day contact throughout your training term. Funded by the Federal Department of Health, TOs deliver general practice education and training within a specific geographical region.

Training organisations support GPs in training who are enrolled in AGPT, PEP and RVTS programs and provide feedback and assessment on a participant’s journey to Fellowship.

Training organisations are accredited every three years against the RACGP Standards for general practice training through the RACGP TO Accreditation Process.
