Chronic Suppurative Lung Disease

The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand has updated this Position statement for managing Chronis Suppurative Lung disease (CSLD) and bronchiectasis (unrelated to CF) in children, adolescents and adults . Aim of the update is to in crease awareness, encourage early diagnosis and best practice management. CSLD is characterized by chronic or recurrent wet/productive cough and lower airway infections and this update provides an overview of recommendations for multi-disciplinary management by clinicians and health service managers and consumers.
