The Safer Baby Bundle has been designed for Australian maternity healthcare professionals and is a collection of change ideas or interventions designed to reduce late pregnancy stillbirth.
The Safer Baby Bundle consists of 5 elements designed to reduce stillbirth rates after 28 weeks' gestation. These include: Supporting women to stop smoking during pregnancy, Improving detection and management of fetal growth restriction, Improving detection and management of felt growth restriction, raising awareness and improving care for women with decreased fetal movements, improving awareness of maternal going-to-sleep position in late pregnancy, improving decision-making about timing of birth for women with risks of stillbirth.
