The RACGP has responded to the Medical Board of Australia regarding the draft revised Guidelines: Telehealth consultations with patients (the guidelines). The RACGP response broadly supports the guidelines, but provides feedback on areas including follow-up and record keeping and using personal accounts to provide telehealth services. The response also suggests the revision of certain wording throughout to ensure the guidance is clear and practical.
