The RACGP has prepared a response to the Department of Health and Aged Care consultation on their new in-home aged care program.
The submission highlights the RACGP is supportive of aged care reforms that streamline access to appropriate services for older people. However, it also flags concerns that the proposed new in-home aged care program represents a missed opportunity to support better integrated GP-led care for older people.
