The RACGP response provides feedback on the draft revised PBS Post-market Review (PMR) Framework.
Following reviews of PMRs undertaken under the current PMR Framework, the Department found it was no longer fit for purpose and that some processes in the Framework result in significant delays.
The RACGP supports the streamlining of processes to expedite reviews. The response provides recommendations for how reviews could be informed, highlights the importance of consumer involvement, and suggestions for prioritising reviews based on level of risk.
