The RACGP has provided a response to the Department of Social Services on the Draft National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022-2032. The RACGP strongly supports the commitment of the National Plan to elicit ongoing change and cooperation across different sectors to end violence against women and children. Our response highlights the need for GPs to be involved in the National Plan given their central role in the healthcare system, and the need to include measures for working with perpetrators.
