The RACGP has provided comment to the NSW Ministry of Health on a number of issues regarding clinical consent to genomic testing. The response addresses: the utility of a genomic consent form in general practice; use in electronic records and privacy concerns; the content of the form; and the financial and future implications of genomic testing for patients and their families.
