The Department of Health has commissioned Urbis, social research and evaluation consultants, to conduct an evaluation of the National Palliative Care Strategy 2010 (the Strategy).
The evaluation aims to assess the value and effectiveness of the Strategy, and identify new and emerging priorities and opportunities in relation to palliative care for improvement in the future.
The evaluation is relevant to the RACGP as it provides an opportunity to provide feedback about the need for general practice to be integrated into the Strategy.
