The RACGP has provided a response to The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists on the RANZCP Diploma of Psychiatry Offering Consultation. The RACGP’s response states that the diploma as it is currently described provides little additional relevant training to improve GPs mental health care knowledge. The response highlights the areas in the curriculum and learning outcomes that need to be improved and tailored more to general practice.
