The RACGP has provided a response to the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute on the Draft Guideline for growth, health and developmental follow-up care for young children born very preterm. The RACGP highlights the central role of GPs in providing comprehensive health care and how GPs play a key role in ensuring children born very preterm continue to receive appropriate follow-up care. It also states the importance of a shared care model.
