There has never been a more important time for State Governments to invest in primary care. A confluence of factors
including an aging population, an epidemic of chronic disease and acute workforce shortages is placing an increasing
burden on Queensland's hospitals and other parts of tertiary care. Well-resourced and supported GPs keep Queenslanders healthy and out of hospital. This is why the RACGP is making its first Budget submission to the Queensland Government.
