Trainer and training post information and resources
General practice trainers are integral to the delivery of high quality, safe, general practice training throughout Australia. The RACGP aims to support all trainers and supervisors and their role in training.
Please find below information, resources and links that may be of assistance regarding any queries you have in relation to training, the curriculum, faculty workshops, and standards for general practice vocational training.
Interested in becoming a GP trainer?
The application process for prospective trainers includes:
- Endorsement from you local regional training provider
- Application to the RACGP for accreditation as a training post
- A practice visit
