The RACGP covers the full spectrum of information delivery channels and can reach 61% of Australia’s 62 652 GPs and specialists1. We even have the capacity to reach GPs who rarely has the opportunity to sit down and read communications, but can listen to a podcast or catch up on College news from an e-newsletter.
There are many opportunities whereby the RACGP is able to collaborate and broadcast your message through any of these channels to help get your message or keep your brand front of mind with Australia's GPs and specialists.

Australian Family Physician Young GPs are the future of the profession and read AFP more than any other medical journal. It is gratifying to know that AFP is able to provide them with consistently readable, reliable and relevant material on an ongoing basis. AFP's Editorial Board has several guiding principles to editorial construction. Foremost is a commitment to seek GP authors wherever possible. The temptation is always there for editors to commission articles from world renowned specialist in obscure fields. The consequence is sometimes an article that is learned and well-read but of little practical use to GPs. AFP's most successful articles have been those that are written by GPs with a special interest in the topic. And regular specialist contributors who have an understanding of general practice ensure that their articles cover the relevant points while avoiding the obscure. Such high quality articles have contributed to AFP's recognition as Australia's only peer reviewed Medline listed and Thomson Scientific – Science Citation Indexed journal for GPs. For advertisers AFP is Australia's largest circulating medical title, reflecting the RACGPs commitment to ensure that every one of Australia's GPs receives AFP, and helps you to deliver your message to 30,000 GPs every month, plus a large group of some 8000 specialists– optimising effectiveness! (circulation 40,329 cab Sep 2009). 2. Competitive Advantage Research, August 2009 |

The layout includes a brief clinical scenario and a series of questions and answers for each case study. Another set of questions are incorporated to bring out in-depth knowledge rather than the ability to rapidly scan articles for obvious answers. check offers GPs the option to complete online or to receive a printed copy. Some 5000 RACGP members opt to receive the printed version.
