Find out more about Dr Konrad Kangru

I have always been proud to be a Rural GP. It is the only career I've ever wanted, and I want to do my part in ensuring my College values Rural General Practice as much as I do.
In every advocacy or policy role I've ever taken, my mission has been simple. To see Rural GPs be the very best doctors they can be, with every support to serve their community.
The variety in the work, the autonomy I have in my rural setting, and the capacity to see long term therapeutic relationships with my patients transform health outcomes.
The many times when I have been able to provide definitive, or even curative, care for a serious condition long before the Outpatient waiting lists had them being seen in a Specialty clinic.
Stop doubting ourselves and letting others define the care we can provide. Your Medical degree means just as much as anyone else's.
I am a member of the Australian Estonian combined choir "kooskõlas", rehearsing via Zoom each month, hoping to perform at the Estonian Song Festival in 2025.
