GP16 – the RACGP’s largest general practice conference to date was held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 29 September to 1 October. This year saw a record number of registered delegates, reaching over 1800.
Highlights from the program included presentations by the Federal Minister for Health The Hon Sussan Ley, Shadow Minister for Health Katherine King, former Chief Commission Christine Nixon and Australia’s leading voice against domestic violence, Rosie Batty.
The program also included a range of active learning modules, workshops, abstract presentations and CPR workshops. With GP16 showcasing the best of the profession, the scene has been set for GP17 which will be held in Sydney from 26 – 28 October.
