The GPs in Training faculty has partnered with CommBank to deliver a webinar covering the basics of financial advice, including budgeting, saving, managing debt, and navigating the increasing cost of living.

This session is open to students, registrars, and new fellows.

  2. How to create a basic budget using budgeting apps and tools
  3. How to prepare for changes in the cost of living
  4. Understand different types of debt, their costs and factors to consider
  5. What impacts your personal credit rating and how to maintain it

Binnie Wang
Relationship Manager

Binnie Wang is a Relationship Manager in Premier Banking Melbourne, she is a health accredited banker for CBA who supports the health care professional sector and their families with their financial needs. In her spare time Binnie is passionate about mentoring & supporting other women on multi‐cultural social media platforms, it allows her to provide her insights and inspire women on how to juggle the responsibilities of being the head of the household, a wife and a mother and still maintaining a focus on her own career and aspirations.

Anthony Sciano
Senior Relationship Manager

Anthony Sciano is a Senior Relationship Manager for the Commonwealth Bank, Premier Banking division in Perth. Anthony specialises in supporting healthcare clinicians with their holistic banking needs and achieving their financial goals, which extends to expertise in the Residential and Investment Home Lending space. For many years, Anthony has partnered with MSWA (formerly known as The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Western Australia) as an event ambassador and participant for their annual stair climbing fundraising challenge, held at Perth's tallest building, Central Park for which he has raised over $40,000 toward the cause.

Julie O'Reilly
Director, Business Advisory

Julie works as a Director in the Business Advisory division at William Buck. Amongst her clients and business partners Julie has a reputation for quality work and reliability, developed through her strong organisational skills and emphasis on meeting client needs. Having gained a wealth of knowledge and experience working for accounting firms in Brisbane, Sydney and New Zealand, Julie provides meaningful advice on general tax and strategic business planning including establishment, structuring, asset protection and growth strategies.
