Finding your path: discovering the breadth of careers in general practice

On-demand recorded 22 May 2023

While all GPs deliver comprehensive care covering the full breadth of patient demographics and case presentations, many GPs develop expertise and skills in specific areas of general practice throughout their career. The result is that GPs often craft unique careers within and alongside general practice, exploring their own interests while meeting the specific needs of their community. GPs also often have opportunities to get involved in advocacy, community development and leadership.

This panel discussion will explore and celebrate GP careers, providing a unique and inspiring opportunity for GPs to reflect on their career journey, and re-connect with their own continuing development as a practitioner, whilst encouraging early career GPs to explore their strengths, and develop a sustainable career and continued passion for their profession. There will be dedicated Q&A at the end of the session.

Presented by the RACGP GPiT (GPs in Training) and the RACGP Specific Interests faculties.
