Join this webinar on anorectal disorders and colorectal cancer. Dr Rebecca Lendzion and Dr Henry Cheung will discuss common anorectal disorders and their etiology, symptoms and risk factors and provide updates on the prevention diagnosis and management of colorectal cancer.

Learning outcomes

  1. Review common anorectal disorders and their etiology, symptoms and risk factors.
  2. Review interventions and management of common anorectal disorders.
  3. Discuss the changes that are occurring in the epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis and management of colorectal cancers.
  4. Discuss how to manage common problems that patients present to their GP following commencement of treatment for colorectal cancer.

Dr Tim Senior is a GP at the Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation in South West Sydney. He is Medical Advisor to the RACGP in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and is a clinical senior lecturer in general practice and Indigenous Health at the University of Western Sydney.

Dr Rebecca Lendzion
Colorectal Surgeon

Dr Lendzion’s practice includes all facets of open and laparoscopic colorectal surgery, hernia and abdominal wall reconstruction, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, and colonoscopy. Rebecca has a special interest in the surgical management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, pelvic floor disorders and the early detection and management of colorectal cancer.

Dr Henry Cheung
Colorectal Surgeon

Dr Cheung is a colorectal surgeon and a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ). Dr Cheung specialises in management of colorectal cancers, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease, common anorectal conditions such as haemorrhoids, anal fissure and anal fistula of all causes. Dr Cheung has expertise to perform surgeries using minimally invasive approaches and up-to-date techniques.
