ENT update on the pitfalls and misconceptions in modern day rhinology and hearing loss in primary care

On-demand recorded 13 Sep 2023

Join us for an interactive educational webinar where ENT specialists will aim to address the pitfalls and misconceptions that prevail in medical practice to enable a better understanding of the pathophysiology of nasal discharge, sinus disease and significant pathologies presenting with nasal symptomatology. You will gain a better understanding on how to approach hearing loss, understand the basics of hearing testing, identify indications for ENT referral, and obtain introductory knowledge on hearing devices, hearing aids and implants.

Learning outcomes

  1. Interpret clinically significant pathologies on CT imaging.
  2. Identify alternate causes of common rhinological pathologies to allow for improved management.
  3. Identify the indications for referral of rhinological patients to both radiology and ENT specialists.
  4. Conduct clinical assessment of patients with hearing loss.
  5. Interpret hearing test results.
