Endometriosis and PCOS - Helping patients to understand the impact on fertility

Join renowned PCOS expert Dr Michael Costello and Prof Luk Rombauts as they discuss these two increasingly common fertility conditions.

This session will assist health practitioners to accurately diagnose both PCOS and Endometriosis, understand the impact this diagnosis can have on fertility and provide guidance on patient care with a view to pregnancy.

This webinar will provide useful information to help GPs identify these conditions in patients, discuss patient management, treatment options and when to refer to a specialist.

Dr Tamara Nation
Deputy Chair, RACGP Specific Interests Integrative Medicine

Dr Nation has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. She is a Fellow, examiner, and medical educator for the RACGP and was awarded the 2021 Brighthope scholarship for Environmental and Nutritional Medicine. Tamara has a special interest in all aspects of women’s health.

Professor Luk Rombauts
Medical Director – Monash IVF Group, President-elect of the World Endometriosis Society, President of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand

Professor Rombauts is a Specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI). Treating all causes of male and female infertility with a special interest in severe endometriosis and embryo implantation. Professor Rombauts is considered an expert in endometriosis, being the president-elect of the World Endometriosis Society and board member of the world Endometriosis Research Foundation.

Dr Michael Costello
NSW Medical Director – Monash IVF

Dr Costello is a Gynaecologist and Specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI). He is a recognised Australian and International expert in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). He is a senior Lecturer in O&G with the UNSW, and a Clinical Academic with the Department of Reproductive Medicine at the RHW.
