Approaches to support young people to address their vaping

On-demand recorded 4 Dec 2023

Vaping among young people is a rapidly escalating public health crisis. The Australian Government has announced comprehensive legislative reforms to ban all e-cigarette products outside of the prescription pathway to curtail access to vapes among young people. Social research has identified young people vape for a variety of reasons and there is a spectrum of vaping behaviour and the supports required to address vaping among young people.

This webinar will equip GPs with information to understand the issues of vaping among young people, including the drivers of use, known and potential harms of use, available resources and practical tips to address vaping in young people.
