Professor Stephen Worthley
Interventional and Structural Cardiologist
Professor Stephen Worthley graduated from Medicine at the Adelaide University which included his Cardiology fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, his PhD at the Mount Sinai Medical Centre in New York, and post-doctoral research and interventional fellowship at Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne. He established the first dedicated Cardiac CT and MR units in the Asia Pacific region, as well as leading the Cardiovascular Research Centre at the University of Adelaide as the Helpman Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine. He held senior executive leadership roles at Genesiscare until 2021 and now practices clinically at Macquarie University Hospital and is a Clinical Professor at Macquarie University.

Cardiologist
Associate Professor Martin Brown completed specialist training in both Cardiology and General Medicine. He studied a Fellowship in advanced heart failure and heart transplantation in Brisbane. During his time at The Prince Charles Hospital, he was head of research in the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Unit. He has authored more than 60 publications and is a peer reviewer for Cardiology Journal. He is a primary investigator in multiple international clinical trials and is invited to lecture internationally. Associate Professor Brown specialises in advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, structural heart disease and valve therapies, high-risk surgery patients and transplant cardiology.
