Early Career GP Conference

In-person 29 Jul, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (AWST)

Navigating your first five years of RACGP Fellowship

Have you just received (or are about to receive) your Fellowship? If you're wondering what you need to know as you begin your career, the RACGP WA New Fellows Committee present the 2023 Early Career GP Conference to answer all your questions and more.

Transitioning from a GP in training to an independent, fellowed GP is a major career (and life) changing milestone. To assist, this must-attend one-day conference explores:

  • Finance for New Fellows – Dr Dev Raga (via Zoom)
  • Top tips for New Fellows – Dr Mary Wyatt
  • The art of consulting – Dr Sean Stevens
  • Bill like a pro + Avoiding pitfalls – Dr Jags Krishnan
  • Keeping the GP spark alive – Dr Nicole Higgins
  • Accounting and tax
  • New Fellows Panel
  • Networking with fellow new GPs, Council and speakers

Designed by GPs for GPs, the conference offers exciting and relevant topics in a relaxed setting, followed by a sundowner to unwind afterwards. Partners are welcome to join the sundowner complimentary from 4.00 pm.

Venue: QT hotel, 133 Murray Street Perth
